Barwon Water Biosolids Management - Geelong, Victoria, Australia

In September 2007 Plenary Environment was awarded the contract to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a Biosolids Management facility. It will be made available to Barwon Water over a 20 year concession.This is one of the first projects in the water sector to be delivered under the Partnerships Victoria framework. Plenary Environment’s solution of a thermal drying facility will provide for 100% recycling of biosolids as a fossil fuel replacement or fertiliser.
