Executive Team
When the Executive Team founded Plenary Group, they came together to create a business around the provision of public infrastructure procured through public private partnerships. They brought a shared vision: that this form of procurement would have a long-term role in the superior delivery of public infrastructure. The Directors all maintain significant shareholdings in the business and are all committed full time to developing the business.
John is the founding Principal of Plenary Group. He has over 20 years of corporate treasury, project financing and investment banking experience and has been a transaction leader on over 20 completed PPPs. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the Group, chairs the Board of Directors, and acts as consortium leader on major Victorian projects.
Paul is the founding Managing Director of Plenary Group. His career in public infrastructure includes more than a decade in the PPP market. He has been directly responsible for structuring, negotiating and executing a number of significant PPP transactions in the Australian market. He is responsible for the day to day running of Plenary Group’s Australian business, managing a team of 30 professional staff.
Ray is a founding Director of Plenary Group. He has more than 20 years experience in banking and capital markets underwriting for the Australian corporate, institutional and infrastructure marketplace. He is responsible for originating and closing public private partnerships across several Australian States. He acts as consortium leader on major NSW and National projects in Australia.
Paul is President of Plenary Group, Canada. He has spent over a decade in the public private partnership market across Australia, Canada and the United States. Paul has played senior roles in successfully closing some 12 public private partnerships worth over $2 billion, including many high profile transactions in Canada and Australia. He is responsible for the day to day leadership and management of Plenary Group’s Canadian business.
Phil is a Director of Plenary Group Canada. He has extensive experience in completing infrastructure projects under a public private partnership platform. Phil has worked in the public private partnership industry for eight years in Australia, Canada and the United States. He has experience on high profile P3 projects including Abbotsford Hospital, VGH Academic Ambulatory Care and Anthony Henday SE Ring Road. He is responsible for Plenary Group’s activities in North America.
