James Cox PhD Scholarship in Architecture

Plenary Group and the family of James Cox have established the James Cox PhD Scholarship in Architecture, in the Faculty of Art and Design at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. The scholarship will be awarded annually to an applicant whose imaginative and experimental idea or project has demonstrable practical outcomes in the development of the urban environment. Here, the candidate may be "embedded" in a practice environment. The scholarship comprises tuition fees and a living allowance for up to 4 years and provision for a period of international research or placement relevant to the project.

Candidates will normally have first class Division A honours in their prior studies and an outstanding folio of design.
